Church Street
Named after the parish church, now converted to residential use.
Faraday Place
Named after the scientist, Michael Faraday. It's the sole surviving street from the old village.
Livingstone Street
Named after David Livingstone, friend of James (Paraffin Young). Livingstone laid the foundation stone of the Addiewell Oil Works in 1864.
Loganlea Crescent, Place, Road and Terrace
Named after the village of Loganlea.
Meadowhead Avenue, Crescent, Gardens, Grove, Loan, Place, Road and Terrace
Named after Meadowhead House, which is just south of Addiewell, on the A71.
Mooreland Gardens and Moorelands Place
Named after Sarah Moore, Midlothian County Councillor and prominent worker on behalf of the community.
Muirhousedykes Mains
Muirhousedykes was the old name for the estate of Loganlea. Now the name of a farm at the west end of the village of Loganlea.
Ross Court
Ross was the farmer at Muirhousedykes Farm, and the farm was usually referred to as Ross’s farm. The houses of Ross Court are adjacent to the farm.
