BBC television documentary looking for former shale miners, or people connected with the shale industry
TVI Vision is making a documentary for BBC Scotland about the history of the shale industry in West Lothian, from the days of James "Paraffin" Young right up to the detergent and chemical works that outlived the shale mines. We are seeking your help to make this film.
SHALE WORKERS: Did you work in the shale industry? Perhaps your parents or grand-parents did so? We want to find people who can share their memories of the industry, and what it meant to their families.
