Not for the faint-hearted
While playing in his home at Stephenson Street, James Maxwell, the three years old son of Mr James Maxwell, was the victim of a most distressing accident. The child had inadvertently grasped a pair of scissors and fell with them in his hand. The points pierced one of his eyes and it was found necessary to convey him to the Royal Infirmary. One examination it was found that the eye would require to be removed. The unfortunate occurrence awakened a feeling of sympathy for the little chap and for his distressed parents.
