The article at the other side of this page (from the People's Journal 1934) was presented to Loganlea Miners' Club a number of years ago by William Fleming McQueen. The article is self-explanatory, but I think this document is very important relating to the history of Addiewell. The photo shows William Fleming McQueen and his wife Margaret at their Golden Wedding celebration a few years ago.
